Greece is a country with one of the longest coastlines in the world and it is proud of the wonderful and crystal clear seas. So, waterparks were not in fashion for many years as… actually there was not a point of having one. Times change, though, and kids ask for fun and adventure even in places where the sea is only a few meters away. Adrenaline seek has become a part of our culture too and as a hospitable tourist country we have to serve the needs of all tourists come to Greece. So, if you and your family seek for a great day out but not on the beach but in a waterpark, then the following list is for you!
Waterparks in Attica (Athens and around):
Waterfun is the closest park to the center of Athens. It is located in Agia Paraskevi and it is brand new (2021). The arent’ a lot of rides but it is a water and pool heaven in the capital and very accessible.
Aquapolis is located near Attica Zoo at Spata and it opened in 2021. It is not the biggest waterpark in Greece but it is a great getaway for all of you who want to escape form the hot neighbourhoods of Athens. You can also organise your kids party there!

Waterpark near Athens (Korinthos)
Splash waterpark Isthmos is almost an hour and a half from Athens and it is close to many nice places to visit, such as Korinthos, Loutraki and Limni Voulagmienis. It is small but there is plenty of fun rides for smaller and older kids to enjoy their day!

Waterparks in Thessaloniki:
Waterland is located very close to Thessaloniki and it is the second biggest waterpark in Greece. It is ideal for a day out with kids and friends and you can also visit a small zoo and have lunch and snacks at the various restaurants and kiosks.

Waterparks in Crete:
Acqua Creta Limnoupolis is just outside Chania and it is located in a greenery environment. A fun paradise even of teenagers and groups of adults who wish to combine excitement to relaxation.

Aqualand Corfu Waterpark is located in Corfu and it is considered one in the best waterparks in Europe. 51 waterslides, pools and and a variety of other games and kiosks to eat and drink will offer you an unforgettable fun family day out.

Waterparks in Rhodes:
Water Park in Faliraki, Rhodes is actually part of Esperos Hotel and it is the biggest waterpark in Greece. Crazy water slides for all ages and great facilities. You can visit withou staying at the hotel.

Waterparks in Kos
Lido Waterpark isocated in Mastihari, just 25 kilometers from Kos town center. The park occupies an area of 75,000 square meters and is one of the largest water parks in Greece.
